Following a successful tenure in the for-profit sector as the head of the global IRONMAN Company, David Yates transitioned into nonprofit work, focusing on aiding marginalized and forgotten communities. His efforts have spanned Southeast Asia and Pakistan. David later served as CEO of Clearwater Marine Aquarium for 14 years, during which he spearheaded the production of the Dolphin Tale movies that highlighted the inspiring story of Winter the Dolphin. Already serving as Board Chairman of Crisis Connect, David stepped into the CEO role after a surge in crises caused by hurricanes in the Tampa Bay area, as Crisis Connect expands its reach to address the growing needs of the community.

Dr. Terry Collier, the founder of Crisis Connect, has been a long-term fixture in the Tampa Bay area as a well-known community leader and professional mental health counselor.

Dr. Terry Collier, the founder of Crisis Connect, has been a long-term fixture in the Tampa Bay area as a well-known community leader and professional mental health counselor.
Dr. Collier is also the Executive Director at Anona Family Life Counseling Center in Largo, FL. Anona United Methodist Church is a 7500-member Church in Largo FL. Terry also consults with several non-profits that focus on veterans, the elderly, youth at risk, domestic violence, life skills, third-world countries, and education. With a lengthy history in mental health counseling and seeing firsthand the growing amounts of crisis ravaging individuals, Dr. Collier founded Crisis Connect to locate and meet the needs of those caught in a time of crisis.
