Ukrainian Relief

Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, leading to significant human displacement and loss of life. As of December 2024, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) reports that approximately 5.9 million Ukrainians have sought refuge abroad, while an estimated 3.7 million are internally displaced within the country.

Crisis Connect has been instrumental in supporting displaced Ukrainians by collaborating with a local Ukrainian church to provide essential aid and services. By partnering with these community hubs, we have effectively distributed food, clothing, and shelter to families affected by the crisis.

Through these joint efforts, Crisis Connect, and its partners have created a network of care that addresses both the immediate and long-term needs of Ukrainian families in crisis.

Thank you to Brad from Ricky T’s for providing the first check for $10,000 that created a chain of events leading to multiple projects helping hundreds of local and displaced Ukrainian families.

Thank you to Seminole Rotary Club members Chuck Oldanie, Dave Buzz, and others who walked the El Camino in Portugal Spain to support Ukrainian families.
